Drepung Monastery... rock art

OK. So it takes more than just a rock to make this art. As you can see, you need pounds and pounds of yak butter, and in some cases stacks and stacks of jiaos. The large rock in the top photo was located at the end of the kora and every person who left by the exit had to pass it. People must deposit whatever butter is left after filling all the butter bowls in the dozens of chapels at Drepung. The photo with the money may be sideways, but you can clearly tell what is going on.
