Actually out here at Drigung this was any and all meals of the day. There was a little restaurant on the 1st floor serving yak-gristle soup with noodles (thukpa), but the cup of noodles turned out to be the more preferred option. I mean, there is only SO much yak gristle I can grind between my teeth before I'm looking for options...
