On my way back to the streetcar line from the fairgrounds. Bayou St. John is beautiful in the evening, and the streetcar was ready to depart as soon as I got on. I was home in about 12 minutes... beats waiting for a cab hands down!!! And it only costs $1.25!! This streetcar wasn't named Desire, but it WAS marked "Cemeteries" which is another Street Car Named Desire reference. Now to get ready for my big night out... DUMPSTAPHUNK at Tipitina's!!
