Sunset in Tibet was always a dramatic event. Wherever we were, we tried to find an auspicious spot for viewing this daily show! The rooftop of our Tenzin Hotel was amazing for sunset, and for viewing the Shigatse Dzong, which was practically at eye level just across the street. The Dzong is undergoing massive reconstruction, and the view is mostly taken up with scaffolding and such. But it is a massive and impressive building none the less.
