Approaching the Golden Rock atop Mt.Kyaiktiyo

 The rock is gold because of millions of thin sheets of pounded gold leaf that pilgrims smooth onto its surface. Thousands of folks, all day, every day. The rock sat out on a small ledge built around it, with a bridge connecting its small hill to the ridge top.

I, unfortunately, could not pay tribute to the rock up close! This blessing is for men only!
