Walking down the main road through Chiang Mai I was overcome by a large parade of women, screaming, chanting and singing as they made their way through the streets. One woman stopped to invite me to spend the evening at a rally for working women's rights. This seemed like something not to be missed, so I followed the crowd through the streets of the old city until we reached the gathering spot, in front of the famous Three Kings Monument.

Walking for Working Women 2008... Chiang Mai
Walking down the main road through Chiang Mai I was overcome by a large parade of women, screaming, chanting and singing as they made their way through the streets.
