In Bangkok the Chao Phraya River is used like a superhighway. Goods of all sorts are taken from the middle of Thailand, down through Bangkok, and on to the Bay of Thailand, and vice versa. Here is a view from our balcony..... Logs being floated to their final destination. If you click on the photos you can see them enlarged, and in this photo you can see people crawling on these logs, helping guide them.
